If you are the parent, uncle, aunt or guardian of a teenager whose time you would like to have, for at least one week during the summer holidays, positively and productively, occupied then please consider sending them on Operation Black Bag.
Operation Black Bag is a course that is designed to offer the opportunity, primarily, to young people aged 14 to 24, and also those who still feel very young at heart, to take time out of their current every day life to evaluate or re-evaluate just exactly where there life currently is and where it is, exactly, that they want there life to go.
It is expected that those that choose to attend Operation Black Bag, will arrive at the pickup point with their clothes etc in a sturdy black bin bag. No designer label luggage, just a simple household black bin bag.
There will be no room in each persons black bin bag for
- Mobile Phones
- wide screen TV
- Mum & Dad’s home cooking
- Microwave Oven
Those that attend, will have at least 96 hours at either our venue in The Brecon Beacons in Wales or Thriftwood in Essex to detox their life, by looking at choices that face them. They will be given individual & team based activities such as;
- Challenge Course (Assault Course)
- Climbing Wall
- Sky Hi (High Beam & Ropes)
- Bush Craft
- Raft Building
- Hill Walking
For the person that attends this course, they will find that these activities have caused them to be stretched
enough to ensure that their perceptions, truly will have been, challenged.
Places on this course costs £185 per adult aged 18 or over or £165.00 per young person aged 14 – 17 if booked and paid for at 21 days before the start of the Operation Black Bag of your choice.
The cost includes;
- Return Coach transportation from South East London to your chosen Operation Black Bag venue
- All activities
- Lectures & Workshops
- Your Meals (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
